COG$ tokens are asset-backed and cannot be sold for cash — they are used exclusively for goods and services within the Member community.

Before you fill in the form
It starts with a conversation

The goal is to find out whether there is a genuine fit — for your business, your customers, and the community. If there is, great. If not, there is no pressure and no problem.

You set the percentage

There is no contract and no fixed commitment. You choose what percentage of a sale you would consider accepting as COG$ — and you can adjust that any time.

We contact you — not the other way around

After you submit, we review what your business offers and make contact at a time that suits you. Nothing activates and nothing is owed until you decide to proceed.

The COG$ token

Asset-backed. Non-fiat. Goods and services only.

COG$ tokens are backed by real CHESS-held ASX shares in Australian resource companies — held by the Foundation on behalf of Members. They are not a cryptocurrency you can sell for dollars. They cannot be listed on any exchange. They cannot be redeemed for fiat currency under any circumstances. This is an entrenched rule that no resolution of Members or the board can remove.

What COG$ can be used for is real goods and services — at participating businesses. That is what makes your business participation foundational. Without businesses that accept COG$, Members have no real-world place to spend, and the community economy exists only on paper. Your business is where it becomes real.

Measured participation

Start at whatever percentage suits your business. Adjust or step back at any time.

Conversation before commitment

We discuss the fit before anything is formalised. No pressure to proceed.

How it could work

Start with interest, then discuss timing, scope, and what fits your business.

We look at what your business offers, who it serves, and whether there is a natural fit with what COG$ Members need. If the fit looks genuine, we make contact at a time that works for you — for a straightforward conversation about what participation could look like in practice.

How COG$ circulates

Members receive income through their membership and spend COG$ at participating businesses — keeping value circulating within and between communities rather than bypassing them.

Sub-Trust A — Members Asset Pool The Foundation holds real CHESS-registered ASX shares in resource companies. Dividends flow to Members and fund community projects.
Sub-Trust B — Member participation Members hold income units and governance votes. When they spend COG$ at your business, value circulates within the community rather than leaving it.
Sub-Trust C — Community projects Donation COG$ proceeds fund community programs, First Nations custodianship initiatives, and local stewardship projects.

The three sub-trust structure is how value flows through the Foundation — and businesses are what make that flow real. Without real places to spend, Member value stays theoretical.
