COGS 1 of 3 Read the law →
1 Why

Australia's minerals. Not owned by Australians.

All minerals, oil, and gas beneath Australian soil are owned by the Crown -- not the people, not the community. Foreign companies hold extraction licences. Australians do not own what's extracted.

Of the top five gold producers -- Boddington, Tropicana, Cadia, Super Pit, and Tanami -- only 24% is Australian-controlled. Four of the top five are majority foreign-owned. Dr Sandra Close, Surbiton Associates, reported by Mining Weekly, September 2025. FY 2024/25.

56% of LNG exported from Australia is royalty-free. Between 2021--22 and 2024--25, Australia exported $170 billion of royalty-free LNG. As of 2023, no LNG export project had ever paid the Petroleum Resource Rent Tax. The Australia Institute, Senate Inquiry, April 2026.

⚖️

The law does give shareholders a seat at the table. Most Australians don't have one. That's what COGS fixes.

2 What

COGS gives you that seat.

You become a Member of the COGS joint venture. Your membership holds a unit in the trust that owns the shares. Your S-NFT is the digital record of that unit.

COGS holds shares in ASX-listed resource companies. Before each AGM, Members vote inside COGS on each resolution. The Trustee then casts the entire bloc according to the Member majority. The board sees one shareholder with thousands of Members behind it.

One member, one vote. Your vote counts the same whether you have $4 or $4 million.

Thomas Cunliffe, Sole Caretaker Trustee Drake Village NSW · Wahlubal Country, Bundjalung Nation. Members will appoint up to seven Trustees by Member poll after Foundation Day.
